Liberal Brian Mast (Fl-18) Panders to Special Interest Groups, Risks America’s Food Security and Endangers Florida’s Critical Water Supply all for Big Profits

Globalist have made billions of dollars through the implementation of their offshore agenda. Since the mid 1980’s, virtually the entire USA manufacturing base has been moved overseas. Now the Globalists want to move the US and more specifically Florida’s agricultural and ranching industries offshore as well. They will do this interfering with the state’s critical water supply in South Florida and blaming Florida’s farmers and ranchers for the negative outcomes.

Lake Okeechobee’s water contains a high level of nutrients which when released from the lake travels through the canal systems to both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Often times, this water will develop toxic algal blooms as it travels through Florida’s canals and river systems ultimately damaging Florida’s sensitive coastal estuaries, lagoons, and coral reefs.

The source of Lake Okeechobee’s nutrients is the lawn fertilizer runoff and leaky septic tanks from several hundred thousand residential homes north of the lake located in the Greater Orlando area. The problem is further exacerbated by run-off from residential and business properties located along the canal and river systems running East from the lake including properties within Florida’s 18th Congressional District

As the Special Interest pimp, Mast readily panders the false narrative that points the blame for the nutrient rich lake water specifically on ranchers and farmers South and West of Lake Okeechobee. However, the fact is that ranching and farming operations West and South of the Lake are highly regulated and monitored and that statistically, zero agricultural water actually flows into Lake Okeechobee.

Special Interest groups are using Mast to promote lowering the water level in Lake Okeechobee which will then threaten the water rights of millions of South Floridians, including farmers and ranchers. The world is in the middle of a food crisis. Florida’s agricultural heartland is one of the most important growing regions in the entire United States.

Mast’s pursuit of lower lake levels threatens to disrupt the largest farming area east of the Mississippi River – an area that feeds 180 million Americans. In addition to sugar cane, there are also millions of tons of vegetables and rice grown in South Florida including:

  • Sweet Corn – enough to feed more than 16.5 million people
  • Sugar—25 percent of America’s sugar production
  • Rice – enough to feed 25 million people
  • Lettuce – enough to make 1 billion salads
  • Cabbage – enough for 250 million servings of coleslaw
  • Fresh Green Beans – enough for 350 million servings
  • Celery – more than 120 million stalks

Mast’s out-of-state special-interest and dark money donors’ profit from their “Globalists” agenda. The agenda is to put South Florida’s agriculture and ranching industries out of business in order to purchase the land for pennies on the dollar and then repurpose the land for a huge profit. The end result for Florida’s voters is forced dependency on imported food sources. Meanwhile, Lake Okeechobee remains nutrient rich and the toxic algal blooms continue to destroy Florida’s delicate ecosystem.

For the “Globalists” it is a win-win. They develop and sell Florida’s agriculture land earning millions in profit. At the same time, they off-shore Florida’s food production and then import the food back into Florida through their commodity trading companies thus making millions more dollars in profits. These trading companies own millions of acres of offshore food production in virtually every critical food stock.

One of Mast’s handlers is Paul Tudor Jones. Mr. Jones runs a global commodity trading hedge fund and controls the Everglades Foundation and indirectly the Everglades Trust, Captains for Clean Water, and many other non-profit front companies.

These special interest groups own Brian Mast, lock stock and barrel meaning that in congress, Brian Mast is a representative of special interest rather than a representative of the voters in Florida’s 18th Congressional District.
